Carlos Rivera is a freelance photographer based out of New York City. His current hashtag #yerrruptown has been steadily gaining traction on social media documenting everyday life Uptown New York City, most recently a month long solo exhibit at Buunni coffee Inwood, Carlos’ contribution to this effort has been recognized by national brands and digital publications including billboard campaigns for AT&T. During the COVID-19 pandemic breakout and uprisings for Black Lives in 2020 Carlos’ work was featured museum exhibits for both The International Center Of Photography as well as the Museum of the City of New York permanent collection of the New York Responds exhibition.
